COMPANY PROFILE:
Dog Dish Lighting Company is an individual owned and operated business.  A life long hobby of restoring antique and period lighting turned into a business that has been built upon providing high quality period light fixtures.  Our lighting  has been utilized and featured in brewing companies, vineyards, ranches, homes and other fine establishments throughout the United States.  Our featured galvanized and copper lighting is hand crafted and manufactured to customer specifications.  Customer satisfaction is our main goal and we consider it an honor to have our products displayed in your home or business.   

THE STORY BEHIND THE COMPANY:
The inspiration behind Dog Dish Lighting Company: Approximately six years ago I was building my house on the rural east coast of Florida. My house is nestled among oak trees, scrub oaks and built in a country Florida Cracker style. My wife wanted some special lights inside the house that reflected our many antiques located throughout the interior. After a desperate search and unable to find her type of lighting, she asked me if I could make such lighting? That's when I went out to my workshop and returned several hours later with a galvanized old-style hanging barn light pictured on the home page and below.



Well the story does not end there. As our friends began to visit our new house, I was asked over and over again if I would make them a hanging barn light. I made several lights for friends and family over the years and as a hobby.  Then our friends told me I should be selling these things on eBay or on the web. Well you know the rest of the story and on January 15, 2007 I officially launched Dog Dish Lighting Company. Dog Dish Lighting Company you ask? Where in the heck did you come up with a name like that?

Simple...Dog Dish is a nickname given to the 10 inch center hubcaps found on some vehicles made between the 1950's and 1970's. Yes, I started making lamps with them as well and thus the name-"Dog Dish Lighting Company". Besides not only do I make lighting, I love dogs too.    

 

God continues to bless us and Dog Dish Lights has expanded our business further than I would of ever expected.  Galvanized lighting and solid copper is our best sellers and a Top Quality lighting product not found in any other web site or store.
